02From document to vault
Parsed, mapped from CUSIP to ticker against a reviewed map, filtered to assets this chain offers, rescaled, then proposed under the notice period.
These are disclosed holdings that this chain does not offer, so the vault cannot hold them. The remaining weights are scaled up to total 100%.
03What it cannot say
- The filing is up to 45 days old the day it is published, and the product says so on the character page rather than implying the basket is current.
- Options are excluded. The vault holds spot exposure only, so a disclosed derivative position has no equivalent here.
- Most disclosed positions have no market on this chain. In the last reading, 22 of 27 were dropped.
04Traps, measured
Each of these was found by reading the live source, and each would have produced a basket that looked right and was not.
- The archive returns HTTP 403 without a User-Agent header, and the error page parses as a filing with no holdings. Measured, not assumed: the same URL with and without the header, on the same day.
- Archive filenames are case sensitive. One wrong letter returns NoSuchKey rather than the document.
- The filing identifies positions by CUSIP, and two share classes of the same company are two different CUSIPs. The map is configuration a human reviews, never something the pipeline guesses.
Holdings come from mandatory public disclosures. Characters are referred to by nickname.
